Description
The City of Longmont operates under a Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) permit, protecting local waterways by managing stormwater runoff. The Stormwater Quality Program is responsible for implementing the five minimum programs required under the MS4 Permit: education and outreach; illegal discharge detection and elimination; construction oversight; post-construction controls; and good housekeeping and pollution prevention.
