Our Mission

The Colorado Stormwater Council (CSC) is an organization of local MS4s, comprised of cities, counties, and special districts throughout the state of Colorado with a mission to effectively protect and improve stormwater quality through collaboration, resource sharing, local partnerships, and focused efforts of special committees.

Make a Difference

  • Salty Streets = Salty Streams
Deicers are not a substitute for shoveling. They work together to ensure you have a clear path to walk. Please do not overapply deicer or salt. Melting snow carries deicers and other pollutants into the storm system, which drains to the nearest waterbody.
  • Leave No Trace
Leave no trace. Trash and debris travels to and through the stormwater system and is discharged untreated into our waterways.
  • Stop the Algae Monster! Excessive Nutrients are Harmful
Harmful algae can form in waterways due to excessive nutrient loading from yard waste. Prevent the algae monster by keeping a few key things in mind.
