Salary Ranges:

Level I:                $72,900 - $102,100 Annually  

Level II:               $88,200 - $123,500 Annually

Level III:              $98,800 - $138,400 Annually

Hiring Ranges:

Level I:                $72,900 - $87,500 Annually  

Level II:               $88,200 - $105,900 Annually

Level III:              $98,800 - $118,600 Annually

Job Summary:

Civil Engineers for the City of Greeley perform activities involving infrastructure review, design and construction, and the management of capital improvement projects (CIP) in the Public Works Storm Water Division.

Experience, Knowledge, Skills:

Level I:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Civil Engineering along with civil engineering experience and training.
  • Valid driver's license and safe driving record.
  • 1-3 years of experience in municipal engineering or related work experience.
  • Engineer in Training (EIT) Certificate preferred.
  • Licensed Professional Civil Engineer (PE) preferred.

Level II:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Civil Engineering along with civil engineering experience and training.
  • Valid driver's license and safe driving record.
  • 3-5 years of experience in municipal engineering or related work experience.
  • Engineer in Training (EIT) Certificate required.
  • Licensed Professional Civil Engineer (PE) preferred.

Level III:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Civil Engineering along with civil engineering experience and training.
  • Valid driver's license and safe driving record. 
  • 4-7 years of experience in municipal engineering or related work experience.
  • Licensed Professional Civil Engineer (PE).
  • Certified associate in project management (CAPM) preferred.
  • Program Management Professional (PgMP) preferred, or Project Management Professional (MP) preferred.
  • Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM) preferred.
